5PPU's music oscillates between rapidly changing moods of pre-arranged sequences and improvised sections building up to towering walls of sound.
The band absorbs elements from jazz, grindcore, metal, game music and other genres.

Sprawling complex technicolor waves of (trying my best here) post-noise-punk dadaist avant-garde jazz-fusion layered in a way I thought couldn't even exist, but here it is, and it's glorious. Supreme musical ability from all of them, with dynamic, polyrhythmic musical absurdities from their tight performance. Much of their work is immediately enjoyable, but due to the depth of their performances, with polyrhythms, harmonies, syncopations, etc., it's got tremendous listenability.

This one also took me a while to get into. It strikes me as less HC than Untitled and less poppy than Ultrapop (stupid I know). Let's call this the No Wave record. Its musical (and amusical) density is matching the persistent sound in my head right now.
